Poker League
Welcome to the home of The William Jessop poker league.
Here you can find everything you need to know in regards to the poker league.
Each week players will pay £13 to enter. £3 from each player will go into a pot for the prizes for the final league standings. £10 will contribute to the pot on the night each week. any add ons or buy ins also go into the pot for that week.
each week will be a payout of 60% 30% 10% for 1st 2nd and 3rd.
The League will go on for 15 weeks. each player will recieve 1 point every time they attend.
The winners of each night will recieve an extra 10 points, 2nd - 8points, 3rd - 6 points, 4th - 4 points, 5th - 2 points.
After 15 weeks the player who is 1st will recieve 60% of the accumulative pot (£3 each week per player).
2nd will recieve 30% and 3rd will recieve 10%
Any player that is tied for points with another player, the person with the most wins will go ahead if this is also tied it will go down to played games, if this is tied then both players will finish tied for that position.
resulting in a split pot for that position. for example, if 2 players are tied for 2nd there will be no 3rd place payout and both players will split the 2nd place pot and 3rd place pot, if both players are tied for 3rd then the 3rd place pot will be split. again if 1st place is a tie there will be no 2nd place and the 2 players tied for the lead will recieve a split from the 1st place and 2nd place, there will then be a 3rd place pot.
The following week the league will reset and start again with the same format.
